01 — Installation & Commissioning

Installation & Commissioning

A cooling system is only as good as its installation. Correctly selected equipment still fails early when pipework is contaminated, when a system is charged without proper evacuation, or when nobody verifies performance against the original design before handover.

We carry out the full mechanical and electrical scope in-house: equipment setting and mounting, refrigerant pipework, electrical termination and controls wiring, pressure testing, evacuation and gas charging, then functional testing and formal commissioning. You receive commissioning records at handover — the documentation a consultant, main contractor or auditor will ask for.

Scope of works

  • Mechanical Installation — equipment setting, mounting, ductwork and connection
  • Electrical Installation — power termination, controls and interlocks
  • Refrigerant Piping — sized, routed, brazed and insulated to specification
  • Pressure Testing — leak-tight verification before charging
  • Vacuum & Gas Charging — evacuation to remove moisture, then measured charge
  • Functional Testing — sequence, safeties and alarm verification
  • Testing & Commissioning — performance proven against design intent, with records

02 — Design & Engineering

HVAC Design & Engineering

Design starts with the numbers. We calculate the actual sensible and latent heat load for the space — IT equipment, lighting, envelope gain, occupancy and fresh air — and size against Qatar’s design ambient conditions rather than adapting a specification written for a cooler climate.

From there we select equipment, lay out air distribution so supply air reaches the rack inlet instead of short-cycling back to the unit, and specify ventilation and fresh air provision for the plant rooms and technical spaces around the critical load. The output is a design you can build from and a schedule you can tender against.

Design scope

  • HVAC Design — system concept, layout and specification
  • Heat Load Calculations — sensible and latent load, room by room
  • Equipment Selection — capacity, footprint and redundancy matched to the space
  • Air Distribution — supply and return paths, containment strategy
  • Ventilation Systems — plant rooms, battery rooms and technical spaces
  • Fresh Air Systems — pressurisation and make-up air provision

03 — Maintenance

Preventive Maintenance & AMC

Most critical cooling failures announce themselves well in advance — a rising discharge pressure, a fouled coil, a filter differential creeping up, a compressor drawing more current than it did last quarter. Planned maintenance exists to catch those while they are still a service task.

Our annual maintenance contracts set a fixed visit schedule with a defined checklist per visit, backed by 24/7 emergency breakdown cover and spare parts supply. You get a written report after every visit, so the condition of your plant is documented rather than assumed.

04 — Controls

Building Management Systems

A BMS earns its cost the first time it catches something at 3am. We integrate monitoring and control across the mechanical and electrical estate so conditions, plant status and alarms are visible in one place — with escalation logic that puts a real alert in front of a real person.

Water leak detection deserves particular attention in a cooled facility: a chilled water leak under a raised floor is one of the few failure modes that can take a data hall down faster than a cooling failure itself. We deploy sensing cable and spot detection with zone-level addressing, so an alarm tells you where the water is, not just that there is water.

How We Work

Our project approach

Nine stages, in sequence, with a clear deliverable at each one. It is deliberately unglamorous — the point is that nothing gets skipped when a programme comes under pressure.

STEP 01

Consultation & Site Survey

We visit the site, review the existing installation and understand the operational constraints before proposing anything.

STEP 02

System Design

Heat load calculations, system concept, redundancy strategy and air distribution layout.

STEP 03

Equipment Selection

Capacity, footprint and efficiency matched to the design — with alternatives priced where useful.

STEP 04

Supply & Logistics

Procurement through manufacturer partners, delivery scheduling and site coordination.

STEP 05

Installation

Mechanical and electrical works, refrigerant pipework, controls wiring and integration.

STEP 06

Testing & Commissioning

Pressure testing, evacuation and charging, functional testing and performance verification.

STEP 07

Training

Handover training for your facilities team on operation, alarms and first-line response.

STEP 08

Preventive Maintenance

A scheduled PPM regime from day one, so the system is maintained rather than monitored.

STEP 09

Technical Support

Ongoing engineering support, spare parts and 24/7 breakdown cover for the life of the system.

Manufacturer Partnerships

Equipment from established critical-cooling manufacturers

We supply and install through manufacturer partnerships, which means factory specification support, genuine spare parts and warranty-backed equipment rather than grey-market sourcing.

Precision Air Conditioning

Precision air conditioning and close-control units for server rooms, data halls and technical spaces.

Data Center Infrastructure

Close control units, InRow and rear-door coolers, containment, monitoring, DCIM and critical power infrastructure.

Cooling & Chiller Systems

Chillers, condensing units and precision cooling for industrial and mission-critical applications.
