About Us
Engineering-first, based in Doha
CoolGrid Technologies was built around a simple idea: the people who design your cooling system should be the same people who install, commission and maintain it.

Our Approach
An engineering practice, not a showroom
CoolGrid Technologies is a Doha-based precision cooling, HVAC, critical power and building management practice serving data centers and mission-critical facilities across Qatar. We work from mechanical engineering fundamentals — heat load, airflow, redundancy, pressure — rather than from a fixed product catalogue.
That matters here more than it does in a temperate climate. Equipment selected against a European design ambient behaves differently in a Doha summer; condenser sizing, refrigerant charge and plant redundancy all have to account for it. Systems we design are sized for the conditions the equipment will actually see.
It also shapes how we work commercially. One team carries a project from the first site visit through to the maintenance contract, so nothing is lost in a handover between departments — and when something does go wrong at 2am, the person who answers already knows how your plant is configured.
What We Value
Three things that don’t change per project
Precision
Systems sized against calculated heat load and airflow, not estimates or rules of thumb. If we don’t have the numbers, we go and measure them.
Accountability
The team that designs the system also installs, commissions and maintains it. There is no handover point where responsibility quietly transfers.
Responsiveness
Direct access to the engineer who knows your site, not a call queue and a ticket number. That is the whole reason to work with a specialist.
Leadership
Led by mechanical engineering practice
Mohammed Meraj leads CoolGrid’s engineering work on data center and critical-facility cooling, bringing mechanical engineering discipline to every project from initial load calculation through commissioning and into the maintenance regime that follows.
For enquiries that need an engineer rather than a salesperson, that is who you will be speaking to.
Speak to an engineerSectors We Serve
Built for environments where downtime is measured in cost
Each sector carries a different tolerance for risk, a different compliance backdrop and a different maintenance window. We size, install and maintain accordingly.
Data Centers
Colocation, enterprise and edge facilities requiring continuous close-control cooling.
Banking & Financial
Core banking rooms and DR sites where regulatory uptime obligations apply.
Healthcare
Hospital IT rooms, imaging suites and clinical spaces with strict air quality needs.
Telecommunications
Exchanges, BTS shelters and telecom equipment rooms, including ceiling-suspended units.
Government
Ministry and public-sector facilities with procurement and documentation requirements.
Oil & Gas
Control rooms and instrumentation spaces in demanding process environments.
Airports
Operational technology rooms supporting continuous aviation systems.
Commercial Buildings
Offices, retail and mixed-use developments needing reliable HVAC and BMS integration.
Manufacturer Partnerships
Equipment from established critical-cooling manufacturers
We supply and install through manufacturer partnerships, which means factory specification support, genuine spare parts and warranty-backed equipment rather than grey-market sourcing.

Precision air conditioning and close-control units for server rooms, data halls and technical spaces.

Close control units, InRow and rear-door coolers, containment, monitoring, DCIM and critical power infrastructure.
Chillers, condensing units and precision cooling for industrial and mission-critical applications.
